Guyana Gold by Money Makin Nique

There is this common misconception that Atlanta only produces trap music or one and done acts. Even though there are several examples that Atlanta's music culture is diverse, it still tends to fall into that stereotype. Well, I have another artist to throw you off that way of thinking. We have here, Money Makin Nique, The Lion King, The Roughneck. Nique's latest project is entitled Guyana Gold. He tells the story of how Atlanta is synonymous with the biblical city of Babylon. The story of how the city is doomed while at the same time it thrives. If you live or frequent Atlanta, you know exactly what he is saying. Guyana Gold gives listeners a full length project to indulge in, something Nique's previous project didn't. You get to pull back the layers as he navigates through the city he calls Babylon.
