iLoveMakonnen - I Don't Sell Molly No More

Here lies Makonnen. Who is he? Well, I'm not all the way sure yet. What I do know is he's the creator of the quirkiest trap music you've ever heard. That description doesn't fully describe his music but he is the newest genre bender that Atlanta has to offer. He's still severely underground at the moment, but he's caught the attention of popular Atlanta producers and he now has several tracks with said producers. Makonnen's vibe feels and sounds like an audio oxymoron. Can I say he's the rap version of the The Weeknd? Maybe? That description doesn't do him justice either. I don't know what to call it, but I enjoy it. Below is the short video of his song entitled "I Don't Sell Molly No More" which is produced by Sonny Digital. Vice Haus Deluxe

ForteBowie is back. Vice Haus was originally released in February as an EP. Forte now has revisited the project and juiced it up to the point of what it should have been in the first place. Vice Haus Deluxe takes you on reminiscent road, but yet still gives you a forward sound. Atlanta hip hop has gone away from its Organized Noise roots, but Forte is in the driver seat of bringing you back to that era. He's a genre-bender, he refuses to be categorized in a sub-genre or even labeled as certain type of performer. Refuses! Definitely something to appreciate. Several notable tracks on the project, but "Ready for the World" and "Ain't Shit" get my top nods. I'm ready to see what Forte does with this project, and hope the best for him. It deserves a listen in its entirety.
